Family history has it that they McGillicuddys came to New Brunswick when Cornelius, son of John McGillicuddy, was two years old. Since he was baptized at the Roman Catholic church at Milltown, Kerry, Ireland, in March of 1839, the family probably traveled in 1841. John died in 1868 and his son Cornelius took over the farm. Cornelius remained in the Cork settlement, while several of his brothers and sisters went west. The farm remained in the family until recently.  William Romanski.
