Irish Origin – Dooyork, Mayo, Ireland
Anthony Kennedy, my 2nd great grandfather, his wife Mary Houston Kennedy, and their children, Martin & Mary Kennedy came from Dooyork, Mayo. It is thought that Mary Houston’s people came from the adjoining townland of Doolough. Mary Kennedy died and Anthony married Bridget Murphy.
